OUT OF TOWN WORK CHARGES
( jobs that are located 25 miles & more from the city of Ridgecrest shall be considered out of town work)
Jobs that are more than 25 miles from Ridgcrest requires extra charges. These extra charges are as follows:
Travel Time: $10.00 per hour from Ridgecrest to the job and from the job back to Ridgecrest.
Gasoline: The gasoline charge shall consist of the total cost of filling up the vehicle before leaving the
city of Ridgecrest and filling up again before returning to Ridgecrest in the city where the job
is located.
Over Night: Some jobs may require more than one or two days work and may be a distance to far to
travel from Ridgecrest to the job and from the job back to Ridgecrest each day. In this case
it is less expensive for the customer to furnish a motel room each night for each person on
the job. Rooms are to be rented with two persons to a room. The cheapest motel rooms will
be used. All persons on the job shall be intitled to $10.00 per day meals paid for by the
customer. In some instances the work is done at a apartment complex or vacant property
and the workers may stay in a vacant apartment or house as long as the property has
working electricity and water.
Materials: Materials shall be purchased at any discount store (Home Depot, Lowers, Ace Hardware,
ect.) that is located nearest to the city where the work is to be prefromed. Materials will be
furnished to the customer at cost plus 38.75%.
Equipment: If a vehicle such as a truck is needed to haul materials and make dump runs the customer
will pay for this vehicle. This includes any trailers, tools, or other equipment such as a
(jack hammers, air compressors, paint sprayers, tile saws, ect.).
Small Tools: If any small tools such as (drill bits, drill motors, sand paper, sanders, saw blades, ect) shall
be needed and deemed necssary in order to complete the j ob, the customer agrees to
furnish these tools. Any electrical tools shall be the customers to keep when the job is
completed.
Dump Fees: On jobs that do not have a trash ben (dumpster) or that has materials to large to place in a
trash ben, dump runs will be made to dispose of the trash. The customer shall be charged
the cost of these dump fees per load. Each county has diffrent prices for trash per load.
Labor Rates: Labor Rates shall be the same as the rates listed above.
Due to the extra costs of out of town work, a customer is required to furnish a deposit in advance in order to commence the work. This deposit can be a cash deposit but is best furnished in the form of a credit card with at least a $2000.00 spending limit.
CHARGES THAT MAY BE ASSOCIATED WITH YOUR REGULAR PLUMBING OR HANDYMAN BILL:
MATERIALS: Materials are furnished to the customer at cost plus 38.75%. There is no guarantee on any labor preformed for a
customer if the customer furnishes his or her own materials in order to complete the work. We do not buy or
furnish any plumbing fixtures or faucets from any type of discount stores such as the Home Depot, Lowes, Ace
Hardware or any other discount stores. All our plumbing fixtures are purchased from a Plumbing Supply House.
DUMP FEES: Diffrent counties and cities has diffrent dump fees and diffrent charges for items dumped. The customer will
be charged the exact amount for each load that the dump charged.
EQUIPMENT RENTAL
Equipment Rental covers any vehicles such as a pickup truck or U-Haul truck that may be needed to pick up your materials. Equipment Rentals also covers any equipment such as ditch witches, back hoes, tractors, ect. Equipment rental includes small power tools such as paint sprayers, grinders, floor sanders, jack hammers and other power tool. The customer will be charged the exact amount of each rental. Any equipment that is rented will include the insurance on the equipment.
